Blessed

Hello,

The length of time since the last blog is laughable.  Oops. Embarassed

This week we are at Bright Star Baptist Church with our new friends the Jacksons. God held our attention last night as Bro. Steve Parrish gave his testimony in his sermon. WOW! It was incredible. People were using the altars and I know for sure that my heart, as well as many others, was touched. Looking forward to the rest of the week!

Takeover!!!!
Hello!

This particular blog entry is to signify the takeover of this blog by Olivia Parsons:)

A new blog entry is painfully overdue, so this is it! I don't really know how to blog correctly...but this will have to do!

7/21 - 7/29

We almost had a family reunion Saturday night in West Virginia at Mt. Moriah Church! The Lord came by our way that night and we enjoyed it! The next morning, we were able to be at Salt Petre Christian Baptist Church in Fort Gay,WV. The Lord was faithful and was there in that service as well.

And Sunday night through Friday night we had a great time in Wheelersburg, OH at the Christian Baptist Campmeeting! Two souls saved, I believe, and lots of others touched! Preaching by Pastor Paul Hagen , Dr. Cal Ray Evans, and Bro. Brian Baer M.A .

The youth set a good example, came to the altars, and got closer to the Lord daily! We need a whole lot more youth that will do that.

It was good to meet new friends and to hear young and old testify of God's faithfulness and their love for Him.

Then came the wierdest scheduling problem we'd ever had! Mom got a call while we were on the road and had a bad reception and had a hard time understanding the  man calling. When she tried to call back, the phone number was disconnected. The name of the church that he gave her...as far as we know... doesn't exist! But Brother Roy Kilgore just happened to be having a Saturday night service and kindly invited us to sing at his church, Highest Praise Pentecostal Church.
Sunday morning we sang at the Freewill Baptist Church in Bucyrus, OH and my favorite part of the service was the testimonies given by several people in the congregation.  And finally, our last service of the trip was at Sandhill FWB Church in Sandusky, OH. The Lord orchLestrated that service so well. The theme of that service was to trust the Lord! Pastor Garry Sorrell listened to the Holy Spirit and preached just the message we needed! We are supposed to tell the Lord that we need a miracle, and then say " Lord, whatever you want to do in this situation, I'll accept it. God is our Father, He doesn't like to see us hurting. He wants to help us! But we can't tell Him what He needs to do. We just have to trust Him to do what is best for us.( Sometimes that's easier said than done.) A purse party erupted after the service and the girls enjoyed that!!!!
We are now home, and enjoying it!!! Thank you everyone for your prayers, support, and friendship!
God Bless you,
         Olivia Parsons

Without a doubt AWESOME!

This past Sunday we were at a church in Grove City, OH.  We sang several songs from our new CD and the Spirit was anointing.  Then we sang the hymn, "It is Well With my Soul".  The Spirit of God fell in that place.  Tears began to flow and people began to flood the altars.

Before service was over, 15 people stood to say that they had just been saved!!  Fifteen!! Praise the Lord!

What was truly AWESOME was the fact that there was no way for any man to take the credit for what happened there. It was undeniably a work done by the Spirit of God!!

Divine Protection

We didn't get in until 3 am this morning.  We traveled US 30 back from OH last night.  The winds were incredible!  I was dozing slightly when all of a sudden it sounded like something smacked the windshield.

I had no clue that at that time there were tornadoes right where we were. We were just south of Defiance, OH and I saw this morning in headlines where 3 tornadoes touched down in Defiance county last night.

I am so thankful to know that the Lord is always with us!!!  We are cradled in His hands!

Something that trips my trigger!
Mood:  happy

Today I have been at my brother in law's studio (Chris Jones) doing session work. I love it! Anything that has to do with recording and audio technology floats my boat!

Annette and Chris were doing background vocals for their brother Victor. Wow, it almost doesn't seem fair to have that much talent.  I guess we just need to make sure that we are using what we've been given.

Give Me Energy!!
Mood:  lazy

Today is Saturday.  Annette and Olivia went and fixed mom's hair today.  I am at home compiling songs to be played during the viewing tomorrow.

I'm eating lots of coconut which is pretty good. It gives me energy and keeps my system going pretty good.

Just kind of chillin' out in the basement today.

God's Faithfulness
Mood:  happy
Topic: God's Faithfulness

I just created this blog today for our website. I want it to be a place to express and share thoughts.

Two nights ago I watched my mom take here last breath here on earth. Annette felt the last heartbeat that occurred in her chest.  I was so acutely aware instantly of the fact that she was no longer existing here in this world.  She no longer needed the body that she had used for 61 years.

God is so faithful. He is able to keep us through whatever we go through in this life.

Once again I thought about the truth that this life is so short and that eternity is so long.

We better get it right now.  Eternity would be a long time to be regretting not getting it right here.

God is so faithful.  I give Him praise this morning.
